Welcome to ClarisDraw, the Versatile New Macintosh Drawing Standard!
ClarisDraw is the next generation of MacDraw software with over 75 new features that will make creating your graphics easier than ever.
This disk will help you explore the new capabilities of ClarisDraw and show you what is possible. However, we 're only providing a starting point to familiarise you with the key new features. Because this is a fully functioning copy (with a few exceptions), you will be able to create your own drawings and see for yourself that great graphics have never been so easy.
To install the ClarisDraw trial software, simply double-click the ClarisDraw Trial icon and choose where you would like it to be installed. This will create a folder with all of the files you need for this demonstration. Follow the directions in the ClarisDraw Self-Guided Demonstration booklet (or Teach Text Document).
What is on this disk:
ClarisDraw Trial Application - Some of the features have been disabled in this version of the application. You will not be able to save documents or copy objects to other applications via the clipboard. However, cut, copy and paste will work within the application. Printing is available, but your printouts will have a watermark in the background.
ClarisDraw Tutorial Files - Designed to be used with the tutorial booklet (or Teach Text document), these files will give you a self-guided demonstration of ClarisDraw.
There is a separate, self-contained tutorial for the 24-bit painting module.
ClarisDraw Sampler - This is a pre-created file to give you an idea of the types of drawings you can create with ClarisDraw.
Claris XTND Filters - These are utility files that will enable you to open files created with MacDraw Pro, MacDraw II and other graphic and text formats.
